Spatial hits 20 years as a Keswick Enterprises Group Company!

Spatial continues to invest in the East Midlands, extending its site lease for an additional 10 years. SGL kits out a new segregated area for mint products and invests in a new conveyor for handling heavy goods.

Spatial chooses Multi-Freight as its operating system in its freight forwarding division.

Acquisition of 100% of Hollyport Logistic Ltd, Hollyport provides high quality freight and customs services with a strong emphasis on the IT sector. With a large number of shipments destined for the EU Hollyport has established a dedicated storage, handling and delivery service within a 3PL operation in Amsterdam.

Creation of Icon Foods Ltd (80% joint venture) to provide cost-effective fulfilment services for confectionery manufacturers, brand owners and retailers. SGL welcomes the Peppersmith business to its site with new automated packing machinery for mints and gum.

Creation of Event-à-Porter, a UK-based event management and full-service support company.

Acquisition of 100% of Assembly and Packaging Services Ltd (APS), a UK-based specialist non-food co-packing and fulfilment company.

Acquisition of Trust Engineering Services Ltd, a specialist leasing company Trust Industrial Buildings SRL acquired, along with its associated properties.

ACS Romania sold to Yusen Logistics.

Tibbett Logistics sold to Yusen Logistics - Keswick's largest ever disposal.SGL Co-packing Ltd adds new site and head office. Spatial is awarded “employer of the year” by the Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce. SGL opens new site in Nelson Lancashire to accommodate its rapidly expanding business.

ACS Romania freight forwarding joint venture created with Allport Cargo Services in Romania.

Food Search Worldwide (FSW) joint venture created with Elbar Group. Tibbett Logistics awarded AEO-Full status across all its locations. Acquisition of 50% stake in Food Search Worldwide Ltd (now Food Services World Wide Ltd). Entrad Partners SRL starts trading - resale of refurbished electrical goods.

50% stake acquired in Graphene Partners of Poland - a specialist supplier of supply chain advisory services, including logistics contract negotiation.

Activities extended into Poland, with the creation of the Keswick Vector SCM Polska joint venture. Sale of Link Logistics.

Romanian businesses rebranded as Tibbett Logistics SRL and Tibbett Retail Services SRL - together trading as 'Tibbett Logistics'. This business then inaugurates its second open-access intermodal rail container terminal in Bucharest, Romania, and invests in its own rolling stock as a guarantee of capacity. Keswick Vector SCM Polska joint venture created with Vector Group of Gdansk, Poland.

Acquisition of 100% of both Delamode and DHL's contract logistics activities in Romania, after selling shareholding in Delamode Group.

Acquisition of 100% of UK-based co-packer SGL Co-packing Ltd and Link Logistics.

Consultancy for the Lane Group (a UK transport company) before its sale to Wincanton. Acquisition of 100% of Spatial Global, an international freight forwarder based adjacent to East Midlands Airport in the UK. Acquisition of 100% of Enterprise Logistics Limited - a Corby, UK-based import warehousing company. Sold in May 2008.

Acquisition of 35% shareholding in Turnbase Limited to develop an £8 million warehouse/office complex for Delamode.

The Keswick Group is founded as Keswick Enterprises Ltd (later becoming The Keswick Enterprises Group Ltd). Acquisition of 20% shareholding in Delamode Group - increased incrementally to 28% in 2006 and 2008.
